Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 14 this year (perhaps in September). This will be the follow-up to the iPhone 13 series launched earlier this year. There are lots of rumors roaming around regarding the features, price, and launch of the iPhone 14.
If the leaks and rumors are true we can expect a bunch of new features that could bring the biggest changes in years.
Leaks and Rumors
As of right now, leaks indicate that the new iPhone will have a smooth modern design, a faster A16 Bionic chip, a sharper upgraded main camera, and Touch ID may return. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be almost identical to the iPhone 13 lineup. The mini-series features and design would remain the same, but it could be replaced by the “max.”
But the support of “satellite connectivity” has left an astonishing expression on iPhone users. According to Bloomberg writer, Mark Gurman, the iPhone 14 series may get this satellite connectivity feature. It will help people connect in remote areas.
How Satellite connectivity can help the users?
Usually, we connect through the cellular networks of the telecom service providers, however, there will be many instances when connectivity is lost and we must make a call or send a message urgently. But this problem will be resolved through satellite connectivity. As per the latest report, there will be an “Emergency message via Contacts” option on the device, which will allow users to send short messages when cellular service is not available.
How does a Satellite phone work?
A satellite phone is nothing but a radio transceiver. The satellite phone transmits radio signals to a satellite, which then transmits them back to earth where a station will route the call to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
